My name is Tom Davis, and I am the author of three books, Fields of the Fatherless, Confessions of a Good Christian Guy, and Red Letters: Living a Faith that Bleeds. My first fiction title, Scared, will release in the summer of '08. I self-published Fields, sold 60,000 copies, and now I am in the middle of a multi-book contract for non-fiction and fiction books about the orphan crisis in our world.

I started this blog as a resource and tool for aspiring authors to learn more about the world of publishing. Hopefully, you'll learn some things you didn't know, and avoid some of the pitfalls I've fallen into. From the concept-to-market, I've posted a lot of the best advice I've ever received from my writer friends. I hope it is a help and encouragement to you as well.
